
INTERFISH S.A. exports 56.4% (2003 accounting year)
of its production to European countries (Italy, Spain) while the remaining
43.6% (2003 accounting year) supplies the domestic market.
With its many years of professional experience, INTERFISH
S.A. has created a strong sales network based on a series
of close partnerships with traders of fresh fish in Greece and abroad,
resulting in stability and allowing for scheduling of orders. This
extensive sales network enables INTERFISH S.A.
to also work with other companies in the field during periods of
increased demand in order to distribute their products through its
own network in the Greek and foreign markets.
The main customers for INTERFISH S.A. products,
whether destined for export markets or for domestic consumption,
are wholesalers that supply local distribution channels. Products
are distributed in
company-owned refrigerator lorries, incorporating the latest technology,
in order to meet customer demands swiftly and safely.
Of the total percentage of exports (71.23% of sales turnover in
the 2003 accounting period), the most significant goes to the Italian
market and, in particular, to the markets of Bari, Naples, Milan,
Rome and Venice. INTERFISH S.A. also directly exports
a smaller percentage of its products to Spain. Finally,
INTERFISH S.A. products are also distributed in France
and Portugal through collaboration with other companies in the sector.
With regard to sales of fry, INTERFISH S.A. is
already working in partnership with companies that produce fish
in the area, supplying them with a part of its fry production.
