INTERFISH AQUACULTURE S.A., trading as, "INTERFISH", was founded in 1994 by Fotios Galanis and Georgios Tzaves.

The company's core activity is the farming of Mediterranean species of sea fish (mainly sea bream and sea bass) using floating fish-cages, the production of fry in inland hatchery facilities for these species as well as their distribution and trading.

The company headquarters and main production facilities are located in Larimna, Lokrida, in the Prefecture of Fthiotida, around 120 km north of Athens, while its head offices are located in Athens at 39a I. Sismanogleiou & Pentelis Avenue, 15235, Vrilissia, Attica.

The company has been listed on the Parallel Market of the Athens Stock Exchange since July 2003.




INTERFISH S.A. is HACCP certified for food safety (No. 03.02/031, Hellenic Organisation for Standardisation) and is in the process of obtaining ISO9002 certification.


The company location means it enjoys easy access to the port of Patras in order to distribute its products to the markets of Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and other countries.

The average marketable weight of the fish (sea bream, sea bass, other Mediterranean species) is 400g and the duration of the farming process is 16 to 18 months.
